Surge protection solutions
Havells, a specialist in low voltage switchgear, together with Furse, a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of earthing and lightning protection systems has launched a comprehensive surge protection solution designed to simplify selection and installation of surge protective devices (SPDs) in accordance with the latest amendment of BS 7671.
Surge protection within the Havells Powersafe distribution board range has been optimised through testing with Furse; the combined solution achieves the lowest possible let-through voltage and removes many of the installation variables. Uniquely, the Havells/Furse solution provides a tested level of system performance that complies with the recent IET wiring regulation requirements for surge protection device installation.
