Preferred dimming module
Following extensive testing of a wide range of dimmer modules available in the UK, Megaman UK has placed the Varilight V-Pro JQP401 dimmer at the top of its list and will now be recommending the unit as its preferred dimmer module.
The Varilight dimmer comes with a factory pre-set to dim to 10% but, as the unit is a smart dimmer, this can be manually programmed quickly and easily to reduce to 1%. The same V-Pro dimmer module can be found across the wide range of decorative metal finishes offered by Varilight.
The dimmer can operate between 2 and 10 lamps from the Megaman range irrespective of power and with no de-rating calculations necessary. During Megaman’s thorough evaluation of various dimmers with 15 Megaman lamps operating at 190, 230, 250 and 260V input, the Varilight V-Pro dimmer emerged as the clear favourite, showing extremely successful results.
