Powered On Live 2024: lowering a UPS’ total cost of ownership
At the upcoming Powered On Live 2024, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about reducing the total cost of ownership for UPS.

At the upcoming Powered On Live 2024, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about reducing the total cost of ownership for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Alex Emms, who currently serves as Technical Director at Kohler, will lead a session aimed at offering practical advice on this topic.
Uninterruptible power supplies are significant investments for companies, prompting a shift in focus from initial purchase costs to long-term ownership expenses. However, while a UPS can potentially offer low total ownership costs, realising these benefits requires adherence to specific guidelines.
Alex Emms, who has dedicated 24 years to specialising in UPS technology, brings a wealth of knowledge to the event. Having started his career as a Service Supervisor at Uninterruptible Power Supplies Ltd, Emms now plays a pivotal role at Kohler.
His talk, scheduled for the second day of the conference on June 13 at 11:35 am, will delve into the strategies for minimising UPS ownership costs. For those interested in attending this session and others at Powered On Live 2024, registration is available on the Powered On Live website.
