Motor and coil test system
The EPOS MC3 portable motor and coil test system generates a stabilised AC/DC voltage which is independent of the supply voltage and is designed for use when working on and testing switchgear devices.
EPOS MC3 can be used to supply power to motors and release coils and to substitute the batteries in switching stations and can function as a power supply for tests carried out with ACTAS switchgear test systems.
The test system captures the operating currents of spring-tensioning and pump motors and of coil operation. The display shows the numerical results as well as the curve characteristics of the motor and coil currents.
EPOS MC3 also provides a number of other functions for switchgear analysis, including the determination of the coil resistance and the minimum tripping voltage.
