Making Hollow-Wall Boxes Pluggable
Although lighting fixtures, distribution boxes and other components are widely available with pluggable interfaces, switches and outlet sockets have, up until now, been connected conventionally.
With Wago's new family of WINSTA plug adapters however, switches and sockets can now be fully integrated into pluggable electrical installations.
The WINSTA RD 3-pole adapters for hollow-wall boxes are available in two versions: the 774-213/9900-0000 for socket outlets with Coding A (black) and the 774-1373/9900-0000 for switches with Coding S (brown). With a maximum wire cross section of 2.5mm2 (AWG 14) the rated voltage for the components is 250 V, with a nominal current of 20 A.
The WINSTA RD plug adapters permit complete pre-assembly of switches and power outlets.
