Field connection terminal block
The new 294 Series field connection terminal block from Wago offers a wide cross section range on its mains (external) side. The range spans from 0.5 to 2.5mm2 making it perfectly suited for use in Europe, America and Japan. Available in 2 to 7 pole with or without snap-in mounting feet, it is ideal for lighting and HVAC applications.
The Cage Clamp’s connection allows solid, stranded and flexible conductors to be connected without any preliminary preparation of the stripped conductor (ultrasonic compression, ferrules, etc.) Each pole has "piano key" lever operation, wire stripping length gauge and 2.5mm diameter test slot. As an option, a direct PE (ground) contact is located beneath the terminal block; if the terminal block is mounted in a metallic enclosure, this contact can be used to connect the enclosure into the protective system directly on installation.
