Compact motor and coil test system
The compact, portable EPOS MC3 test system is used for powering, testing and analysing the motors and release coils of switchgear devices.
In addition to use as a powerful AC/DC source, EPOS MC3 captures the operating currents of spring-charging and pump motors and of coil operation. The touch screen shows the numerical results as well as the curve characteristics of the motor and coil currents.
Thanks to the synthetic generation of output quantities, the voltage source is unaffected by disturbances in the power supply. This means tests can always be carried out under identical conditions, allowing direct comparison of the results.
