MediaCityUK is the new home for BBC North, a new multi-million pound studios facility, a new campus for the University of Salford and over 60 small businesses.

MediaCityUK is a 200 acre site, caters for thousands of people on a daily basis and safety is of paramount importance for the development’s only food store. Consequently, FP200 Gold has been used for the fire alarm system and FP Plus for the disabled refuge in the shop and café area.
FP200 Gold and FP Plus comply with fire alarm standard, BS 5839 and the emergency lighting standard, BS 5266 as 'standard' and 'enhanced' fire resistant cable.
