Box clever with environmentally friendly packaging
Cables and systems specialist Draka is now able to supply its market leading UC Connect range of cables for enterprise and datacentre communications networks in Reelex EcoCore boxes to ensure easy, environmentally friendly cable dispensing without cable twists, tangles, or overruns.
Reelex is a patented method of winding cable in such a way as to result in a reel-less, self- supporting coil. This unique coil dispenses from the inside-out without snags or twists.
Each Reelex EcoCore box contains a 305m cable length. The new EcoCore box offers better payout performance than existing Reelex II packages. Cable payout is from the inside of the coil, through the payout tube out through a large payout opening to ensure less troublesome, tangle-free dispensing of the cable without twists. And, because the coil does not rotate during cable payout, there is no inertia and no need for special cable dispensing stands.
