BIM ready
With the government’s April deadline for the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modelling) fast approaching, Flex Connectors are pleased to announce that they are BIM ready! They have worked closely with NBS, one of the UK’s most trusted authorities in the field, to ensure products from the popular flex7 Lighting Connection & Control System are available as Level 2 BIM objects. All flex7 BIM objects can be downloaded for free from the National BIM Library; visit www.nationalbimlibrary.com and type ‘Flex Connectors’ into the search bar. Alternatively, there are links from the Flex Connectors website www.flexconnectors.co.uk directly to all products in the National BIM Library; just click on any of the ‘BIM ready’ logos on the BIM page. Flex Connectors’ flex7 System is a modular, ‘plug and play’ system. Using the system saves time on site and reduces the need for skilled labour. The system does not need commissioning.
