Atex approval terminal blocks
Wago's 2000 Series DIN-rail terminal blocks have been granted Atex and IECEx approvals. The 2000 Series is part of the Topjobs family of terminal blocks which are used extensively for hazardous area applications.
At only 3.5mm, they are the smallest width DIN-rail terminals that Wago offer and are available in 2-, 3- and 4-conductor versions. For hazardous area applications the terminal is rated at 550 V, 13 A (without jumper) or 550 V, 12 A (with jumper). For standard applications the rating is up to 800 V, 13.5 A (18A). Red, yellow and black through terminals have been added to the existing selection of grey, blue (suitable for Ex i) and orange colours.
Wago offers an in-house service to populate and certify Atex enclosures from its SteelEx and PlasEx ranges.
