Residential alarm offers interchangeable sensor head
The Firesafe Ra Series ‘Quick Fix' range of 230V (complete with battery back-up), inter-connectable, mains powered smoke and heat alarms employ innovative features to assist the installer and user in siting and maintaining them.
A sensor head acceptor feature alleviates users from inadvertently reinstalling the detectors to the wrong base after battery replacement and ultimately in the wrong environment which could lead un-necessary false alarming or even worse to devastating consequences of the alarm not activating in the event of fire.
Even the best alarms can be vulnerable to false alarms especially if they are not regularly cleaned or are sited in an unsuitable area. While an obvious solution is to clean them, this isn't always possible, to minimise the possibility of dust contamination the RA range is supplied with an individual dust cover.
