Enhanced conventional detectors
Firesafe is soon to launch its new conventional detectors; not only compatible with the majority of conventional installations, but EN54 compliant and supplied in contractor-friendly packs of five.
Through innovative design these detectors have all been created to a high level of sensitivity and are aesthetically pleasing. The range consists of an optical smoke detector, combined optical detector and fixed thermal heat detector as well as 60 degree rate of rise thermal heat, 75 degree fixed temperature detectors and 85 degree fixed high temperature; all with 360 degree multi-view alarm indication LED's.
The wiring terminals are clearly marked for the installer and the base supplies convenient wiring space. There are fitting alignment marks to ensure head and base are installed properly and head to base locking facility for ease of assemble and to prevent un authorised detector removal.
The base of the product has a built in 470ohm/680ohm resistor and a built in schottky diode.
