Combined current and surge arrester
Dehn rapid from Dehn (U.K.) Ltd. is a combined lightning current and surge arrester that is directly pluggable into disconnection blocks based on the standard LSA insulation displacement connection system, allowing easy integration within enclosures.
The integrated LSA disconnection block function in the unit's 10-pair plug-in protection block allow for protected testing, disconnecting or patching within the system or the additional attachment of single-pair surge arresters. The 10-pair plug-in surge-protection block with lightning current carrying capacity incorporates gas discharge tubes and optional visual fault indication as well as the disconnection block contacts.
