Thyristor Range
A range of controllers for electric heater batter operation air handling units has been introduced by Sontay.
The RE thyristor range includes both DIN rail and panel mounting options for ease of installation. Both styles are compact in size and rated at 60 Celsius to reduce panel size and ventilation needs. They feature self-monitoring functions and provide signals to a connected BMS in the event of phase failure, over-heat or fault. Interlocks for airflow proving, fan run on and overheat may be configured and all models feature burst-power firing to minimise electrical noise and RFI disturbance without extra filtering.
The DIN rail mount versions provide single phase power modulation from 1.5kW up to 6kW and three-phase heating regulation from 12kW to up to 18kW.
