Cable supplied to Vue Cinema
Fourteen thousand meters of Prysmian's FP200 Gold is currently being installed within the Vue Cinema at Stratford's new Westfield Shopping centre, specified to power the state of the art fire alarm and multi zoned voice alarm systems.
Electrical contractor Solid State has been working on the project since April this year as Mark Suffolk, contracts manager explains: ‘FP200 Gold from Prysmian was specified for this project due to the product's all-round quality and the fact it can be stripped with ease, enabling the installation process to be quick and efficient'.
Suffolk added: "The Vue cinema complex is housed within the largest shopping centre in Northern Europe and therefore required the highest standard of fire resistant cabling. As Prysmian's FP 200 Gold® holds a range of approvals including BASEC, LPCB and London Underground it was the only choice."
