ABB, the power and automation technology group, and Power-One, a provider of renewable energy and of energy-efficient power conversion and power management solutions, have announced their boards of directors have agreed to a transaction in which ABB will acquire Power-One for $6.35 per share in cash or $1,028 million equity value.

Past iterations of the RHPP scheme have fallen down due to the lack of certainty for RHI eligibility; so if the Government is truly committed to renewable heat then it is now time to give the right amount of confidence to investors.”
