Socomec’s Critical Power UK division has delivered a series of Masterys BC UPS units to the new Stonehenge visitor building – the first phase of improvements to the setting and visitor experience of Stonehenge which is due to open in June 2014. Socomc UPS Masterys BC (15 – 20kVA) technology provides a complete, cost-effective critical power solution. True online double conversion mode - with an output factor of 0.9 - provides 12% more active power compared to UPS with a power factor of 0.8.
With a compact footprint and optimized cabinet size, the Socomec Masterys BC is efficient in terms of both space and energy. Dual input functionality enables the management of independent power sources. Furthermore, the system’s availability can be increased by placing two UPS in parallel (1+1 redundancy).An internal manual bypass allows for easy maintenance – without power interruption.
