Thermal fuses smaller in volume
NEC's newest SEFUSE SF-R series thermal fuses are 1/3 smaller in volume than conventional pellet-type thermal fuses.
Just 4mm diameter x 8.5mm long, they can still carry the same 15A/250VAC load but they respond up to 15% faster to over-temperature conditions. Thus they offer even greater levels of thermal protection against electrical faults and fires.
The SF-R series is the smallest fuse available capable of handling a 15A current. The SF-R series fuse has 17 calibrations ranging from 70°C~240°C, they carry all necessary worldwide including VDE and C-UL and are readily available now. NEC continues to lead the way in global thermal fuse development, being able to offer its SFH-R range in the exact same size compact package.
