Offshore Wind Technology: Round 3 developments and technical innovations
It could be said wind energy is currently better developed and more commercially viable than other renewable energy sources and is spearheading Britain’s efforts to generate its electricity from renewable sources. The UK, a recognised world leader in offshore wind power generation, is building more offshore wind farms than any other country, accounts for almost all of the turbines erected in European waters this year and is attracting new business from around the world in a difficult economic climate.
