Megger completes acquisition of Diagnostic Solutions Limited
Megger has completed the acquisition of Diagsol, a UK-based company specialising in vibration monitoring and analysis of rotating machines.

Megger has officially completed the acquisition of Diagnostic Solutions Limited (Diagsol), a UK-based company specialising in vibration monitoring and analysis of rotating machines within the predictive maintenance industry for over 25 years.
Diagsol has introduced a variety of vibration measurement technologies, such as MEMS and Piezo battery-powered wireless systems (vCube and vCube Pro), and the company’s 16 channel 24 bit intelligent dynamic data acquisition system (vBridge). These technologies incorporate local intelligence through Edge link devices and are compatible with cloud data, facilitating enhanced analysis and reporting.
Damon Mount, Director of Business Development at Megger, commented, "We’re excited to have DSL as part of the Megger family, enhancing our motor testing portfolio significantly with their world-class vibration solutions. When it comes to rotating machinery, on-line vibration analysis is one of the most common monitoring methods, which is why having DSL onboard expands our offerings in this market."
Tom Scott, the former Managing Director of Diagsol, stated, “Watch this space, the addition of vibration diagnostics to the already world class motor analysis capabilities within the future Megger product range represents a step change in capability and market sector for the Megger machine.”
This is just the latest in a long line of acquisitions for Megger, with the company completing the purchase of Weidmann Electrical Technology’s North American Diagnostic Laboratory business and InsuLogix monitoring product line in April 2023, while it also purchased the BALTO produce line-up in 2020.
