Where the building has an external lightning protection system, overhead supply lines or equipment at risk of a direct lightning strike, Type 1 lightning current arrestors should be used. The Type 1 DEHNventil range meets the requirements of BS EN 62305.
The Type 1 device is followed by a fully co-ordinated surge protection system consisting of Type 2, and located at the terminal equipment Type 3 SPD’s. Each device plays a critical role in protecting the electronic equipment within the structure.
The modular DEHNrail range of Type 3 SPD’s cover a wide range of voltages suitable for Single and Three Phase systems.
