GB medallists team up with powerBall to offer once-in-a-lifetime sporting thrills with its Live & Silent Auctions

The 2014 powerBall is offering an opportunity for guests to fulfil their sporting dreams by lining up to compete alongside Team GB Olympians. A series of four once-in-a-lifetime tournaments will be held in 2015 to help generate funds for the Electrical Industries Charity.

Companies attending this year’s powerBall at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London, will be encouraged to make bids for the chance to take part in these competitions. Winners will play alongside some of the country’s leading sportsmen and women, who will act as player-coaches for each team. The sports on offer include cycling, volleyball, white water canoeing and rowing.

A host of Team GB Olympians and Paralympians will be taking part and joining in with social events too. Among the Team GB medallists taking part are:
For track cycling: Ed Clancy, Dani King, Pete Kennaugh, Rebecca Romero For rowing: Anna Watkins, Sophie Hoskings.

Operations manager, Jill Nadolski, said: “Our auctions are very popular parts of the powerBall event, and these prizes are unique. We are delighted to be supported again by Team GB in our efforts to raise funds.”
