In 2017, 209,500 people had jobs in this sector. Of these, 135,000 were in the energy efficiency subsector. Plus some 42,000 people in renewables. Of which 5,000 are working on onshore wind. Which is incidentally about the same number of folk as are involved with nuclear generation.
