Dealer secures trio of major London contracts
Bells Power, an official FG Wilson Dealer in the UK, has recently completed a hat-trick of power solution contract wins in one of the most sought-after city locations in London.
Bells has been appointed to deliver power solutions in the Walbrook Building, Cannon Place and Bloomberg offices – all of which are located in what is known as the ‘The Walbrook Triangle’, a rapidly emerging London destination which is home to a mix of office headquarter buildings, green spaces, shopping colonnades and a café culture.
All three contracts have been secured in the last 12 months and will see Bells delivering power solutions for up to 1.4 million sq.ft.of lettable office/retail space. Upon completion of the works, Bells will have installed a total of 13.7 MVA (10.96MW) of standby diesel generator sets, including three FG Wilson P1700P (11KV) generator sets, three P1700Ps (400V), two P1500Ps (11KV) and a P500P (400V).
The installation works at the Walbrook Building were completed in March 2014, with the Cannon Place installation having been successfully tested and commissioned in August 2014 – with final ISTs due to have been confirmed in September 2014. The Bloomberg design is ongoing, with works set to be carried out by mid-2015.
