Rocker gets makeover
Legrand has given its classic large rocker switch a stylish makeover in order to make it the number one choice for installations where ease of control is the highest priority.
The new Clipper switch has been designed with young and elderly users in mind and, as such, is ideal for schools, care homes and other public sector establishments where operational simplicity is sought after.
Mark Evans, Legrand's marketing director, said: "Wiring devices have developed tremendously in recent years and today the emphasis is often as much on visual appeal as it is on function. That said, there has been a growing demand for functional, easy to use products and the Clipper range is aimed at satisfying this."
The range, which complements Legrand's Synergy range of wiring devices, features the option of silver or neon surround frames to aid Part M compliancy.
It is available in one, two and three gang two-way options, plus a one gang two-way intermediate switch and a one gang two-way push switch. And, as its name suggests, it features a clip on cover that makes installation easier and gives a sleek finish with no visible screws.
This visual appeal is further enhanced by the Clipper's large contoured rocker, while the compact mechanism, designed specifically to maximise wiring space, further aids the ease of installation.
