Third Pump Industry Award for ABB

ABB has become the first company to be awarded Supplier of the Year for the third consecutive year at the Pump Industry Awards 2009.

"Each year we try and proactively improve on our service levels and broaden our offering to pump users" says Steve Ruddell, general manager of drives and motors, ABB. "We refuse to let complacency creep in at any level. We now have the broadest variable speed drive and electric motor ranges of any manufacturer. Our drives series, for example, is no older than two years. And this year we launched a variable speed drive specifically dedicated to pumping applications, which shows our commitment to the interests of pump users.

The award was presented to ABB's Steve Ruddell, at a ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, Coventry on 18 November, by World Pumps editor Alan Burrows.
