Fast push fit connection for new slimline conduit fitting
Flexicon claims its new slimline push fit Flexilok conduit fitting will dramatically speed up installation times.
Like the threaded version of Flexilok, you simply push it onto the conduit and then twist to secure. Installers save even more time because the new fitting also features a push fit connection for terminating the conduit into the enclosure or panel thus eliminating the need for a locknut. This also means that access to the inside of the panel or enclosure is not necessary.
Instead of using a locknut, the design offers a spring-loaded fixing allowing you to simply push the fitting into the hole to secure it. An additional O-ring improves the seal between the fitting and the enclosure giving up to an IP66 rating.
You can use push fit Flexilok with fine or coarse pitch nylon, polypropylene and PVC conduits. It can be used with 20mm, 21mm, 25mm, 28mm and 34mm conduits with 20mm, 25mm and 32mm knockouts. The new fitting is made from PA66 and is available in black as standard and grey or white on request.
