Make your views known on wholesaler website
‘Have your say' is the message from recently launched web store, Neweys Online, the newest tool of the trade from leading electrical wholesaler Newey and Eyre. The company is encouraging installers to log on and review the products being sold on the site.
Customers using the site can leave feedback on any products they have bought, either from a branch or the online store. The feedback is monitored by the web team who will be collating the information and addressing any queries or issues buyers have.
Reviews can then be viewed by other users; ensuring contractors are able to see what other tradesmen from particular branches have said about items before they buy. This will help with comparisons between products, allowing contractors to look at feedback and take this into account when making a decision. Users can ensure they are getting the right product to meet their requirements as recommended by other installers, rather than just the wholesaler.
Neweys Online was launched earlier this year to help installers save time. Having access to product reviews is another way to shop more quickly - customers can read what others think of a product, resulting in a quicker and more informed decision making process. Having the reviews all in one place is also a simpler approach than looking on a number of websites.
The importance of customer reviews should never be underestimated, in fact recent research carried out by Nielsen, showed 70% of online users trust customer opinions found on websites.*
Saj Bhojani, web manager for Neweys Online, said: "Reviews are such a useful tool for customers we are actively encouraging users to log on and leave honest feedback about the products they have bought or used. Reviews offer the reassurance some customers need when making a decision, ensuring the buyer feels confident in their purchase.
"It is also really important to us to find out what our customers think of the products we are selling on the site and get feedback across our whole product range. Neweys Online is committed to selling what the buyer wants and this way we can review our offering and ensure we are giving customers what they want and need. We also want to offer a faster way to buy electrical equipment and product reviews can help in speeding up the process."
Neweys Online offers an extended service, allowing customers to place orders up to 8pm for next day delivery or collection from any of 160+ branches. Not only can users place their order after the branch has closed but they can also access detailed product information on over 10,000 products and download over 2,000 datasheets.
