Expanded network of motor repair workshops
Four more locations have been added to ABB's network of Ex motor repair workshops. Mid-Kent Electrical Engineering in Sittingbourne, Heasell Electromechanical Services in Hertfordshire, JJ Loughran in Cookstown, Co.Tyrone and Campbell's Electric Motors in Dublin are now certified to carry out repairs of Ex motors to ABB factory standards.
Together with Central Electrical in Liverpool ABB Motor Service Partners now offer five approved locations across the UK and Ireland.
The ABB authorisation certifies that the workshop is qualified to operate under ABB's responsibility. Following a repair or modification, ABB Ex motors will continue to comply with Directive 94/9/EC or relevant Ex IEC standard requirements and maintain factory standard. All warranties stay in force and the original ABB declaration of conformity for the motor remains valid.
