New multiway RCBO saves space and cost
Established electrical protection specialist, FDB Electrical, has introduced the latest addition to its range of general purpose earth leakage protection units. The FDB2 is a compact 4-way RCBO unit that comes complete with overload and short circuit protection. It is considered ideal for all commercial and light industrial applications including offices, schools, railways, pharmaceutical plant and retail environments, e.g. supermarkets.
The FDB2 features state of the art electronic design to ensure stability and immunity from spurious tripping in both 110V and 230V formats, with 20mA, 30mA and 100mA variants. This advanced end-of-line device offers personnel ring main protection in a compact surface mount package that also saves installation time, while maintaining 4 independent circuits, each with front access RCD test button and MCB toggle. Colour coding of the housing in standard RAL colours is available to suit custom project requirements.
