Thank you from No.10
Lord Mandelson joined Prime Minister, Gordon Brown in welcoming more than 100 CEO's from some of the UK's most innovative start-up companies to a formal ‘drinks function' at No. 10 Downing Street, last week, in a bid to say ‘thank you' to those SME's who, despite the UK's severe trading conditions, maintained enough faith in their ability and the UK Government, to launch their new companies to the market.
Amongst them was Cumbrian based S.H. Lighting's Managing Director, Gary Ashburner, who together with Sales Director Richard Gill launched their innovative range of state of the art industrial, ruggedized LED lighting products.
The Business Call to Action, highlighted initiatives by a number of companies especially those who have not only developed ‘Green' products, but also those whose products will advance a distinctive benefit to the UK economy and help the UK Government meet their legally binding energy saving targets.
