Snow solution
Bristol based Power Electrics responded immediately when Western Power Distribution (WPD) needed an instant power solution.
The request for 20 towable generators was the result of extreme weather conditions which caused the unprecedented closure of both Severn bridges, and meant WPD was unable to deploy all its resources. Within an hour of the request all 20 units were loaded onto Power Electrics' own transport and despatched to WPD depots in Exeter and Taunton. Power Electrics provided the temporary solution from its hire fleet of FG Wilson generators. Ranging from 15 - 100 kVA, the units are fuel efficient, easy to operate and robust. Galvanised, sound attenuated enclosures give good noise reduction for residential areas and will withstand harsh on-site conditions.
