IEE tops the charts
The IEE On-Site Guide BS 7671:2008 is today number two in Amazon's top 50 best sellers - above P D James and Terry Pratchett.
Its predecessor, Requirements for Electrical Installations 17th edition BS 7671:2008, published in January, flew into the Amazon list at number 17. Now, with this latest best seller standing just below the top slot, the IET has confirmed its presence as a successful publishing business.
Ben Sear, Director of marketing and communications, said, "It may not have the sexiest title but it obviously has found its gap in the market. It just shows that there is room on the book shelves for well produced information in a format which is user friendly - if you are a professional electrician, obviously."
The On Site Guide is an A5 size with spiral binding and a tough cover; it provides essential information in a convenient, easy to use format and avoids the need for detailed calculations.
