Lighting up the Millennium Stadium
The Lamp Company has supplied in excess of 300 lamps for re-lamping floodlights at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
The lamps were purchased by Electric Centre in Cardiff, which has a contract with the stadium for supply of light sources. "Having compared The Lamp Company with other lamp suppliers we have worked with them for several years," commented Electric Centre's Richard Baldwin. "Not only have we received a consistently excellent service, we have also been pleased with the competitive pricing."
The Lamp Company stocks over 7000 lines of lamps at any one time, with a minimum stock holding of around 1,065,000 lamps, and claims to cater for every size of project with very short lead times.
Customers also benefit from a range of added value services, including the company's ‘cost of ownership' program, which allows quick calculations on payback, comparing the use of different lamps and taking into account whole life costs rather than just the cost of the lamp.
