'Affordable style' from Orbik
The new Chella range of fully recessed emergency luminaires, from Orbik Electronics, has been designed to address the market's requirement for high quality, yet affordable solutions. To reduce energy wastage and lower maintenance costs, it comes with a choice of long life LED or low energy 8w fluorescent versions.
To maximise the product's versatility, all versions can be featured with an optional edge-lit exit sign, which comes with a choice of legends. This exit fascia is manufactured from PlasiGlas which is a strong, light conducting, flame retardant plastic which is almost impossible to distinguish from glass. The clarity of this sign enables it to be viewed from 32metres.
Utilizing a polycarbonate body, which is designed to be fully recessed, it has a hinged, removable gear tray to facilitate ease of fixing and maintenance. Attention to detail is illustrated with the use of an effective light-pipe design which enables the LED charge indicator to be clearly visible, even during the maintained mode. To address application requirements, the Chella is available in mains, 3 hour maintained or non-maintained emergency versions with slave options.
To suit different interior designs the Chella comes in white as standard, with the choice of brass or chrome as options. Other options include ‘dusk to dawn' photo cell, high frequency ballast, electronic starter, intelligent addressable interface with slave versions for central battery or static inverter systems and self testing luminaires.
