New Fibreglass Steps extend the Ladderstore range
Completely new to Ladderstore are two ranges of fibreglass steps which benefit from being both lightweight and extra strong for professional use, and most importantly are insulated to 5,000 volts.
Unlike aluminium, fibreglass is non conductive, these steps are therefore ideal for use where there may be electrical hazards or within a sterile environment. Using fibreglass steps therefore eliminates the risk of being turned away from site - they have the added benefit that they do not become cold to the touch in winter.
Both Swingback and Platform steps ladders are available, both ranges having five, six, seven, eight and ten step models. Safety is built-in; durable insulated non-slip feet, 80mm deep non-slip treads, and large folding platform on the platform steps, as well as a useful tool tray to keep fixings and tools to hand during work. All of the step ladders are certified to EN131 with a maximum working load of 150kg.
The Swingback steps are priced from around £69.99. The weight is a mere 6.4kg for the five step up to 12kg for the ten step and heights range from 1.16m to 2.3m depending on the model. The smallest Platform step ladder weighs 8kg, the largest 13.2kg; they range in height from 1.74m to 2.9m and retail prices start from £89.99.
