Move results in better stock
Flexible & Specialist Cables (FS Cables) has relocated to larger premises in St Albans. The new building is substantially larger than the units it leaves behind and enables the company to offer a wider range of products for next-day delivery, an improved collection facility and the capacity to handle drums of up to eight tons.
The move will also allow the firm to hold larger stocks for call-off orders. Many customers now choose the ‘order and call off' option, where they order in bulk and ‘call off' lengths of cable over a pre-determined period, often up to 12 months. This gives guaranteed supply, consistency of product and enables them to enjoy bulk quantity discounts.
