Distributor agreement signed

Motion Control Products in Bournemouth has become the first national distributor of the new ABB machinery drive.

Motion Control Products Ltd will stock the entire range from 0.75 to 110 kW. The target market is machinery builders looking for servo drives for applications such as extruders, calenders, winders and unwinders, slitters, sheeters, laminators, automatic storage, conveyors and pick and place systems.

Motion Control Products is looking to sell several hundred units in the first year.  Graham Barlow, who heads ABB's high performance machinery drive team, said: "Motion Control Products is a well established and competent organisation and an ideal partner to help us achieve our market and sales targets."

Motion Control Products is a specialist distributor of motion control systems, stepper, servo motors and drives, linear actuators and gearboxes. It is also a specialist motion control system design house and supplies of products to the automation industry.
