Korean minister awarded IEE Fellowship
The IEE this week presented a Fellowship to the Korean Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Dr Lee Hee-Beom, in recognition of his achievements and dedication to the energy and electrical sector in Korea.
The Fellowship was presented by the IEE's past president, Dr Robert Hawley at Savoy Place, London.
Minister Lee has been heavily involved in forging strong trade links between Korea and Europe and has headed several trade delegations supporting various facets of Korean industry. He is also committed to the advancement of technology and, prior to his current post, was the president of Seoul National University of Technology.
