Diplomat DC impellers withstand the pressure
The Comair Rotron Diplomat range of high power, backward curve impellers, available in the UK from Aerco, has been extended and now includes AC blowers for the first time. Ideal for pressurisation or evacuation of enclosures in a variety of applications the range provides high airflow in high-pressure environments and range in size from 100mm to 280mm. These blowers provide airflow of up to 472litres/sec (1000 CFM) against a system pressure of up to 3 inch H2O. DC versions are available in 12, 24 and 48V while the AC blowers are 115 or 230V.
There has been an increasing requirement for backward curve impellers in many applications such as telecommunication equipment, computers, medical devices, heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, heat exchangers, power supplies and others with high packing density that creates a high system pressure restricting air flow.
Unlike many other centrifugal types of air movers Diplomat blowers do not require a scroll housing to obtain high static pressure. They are available with a variety of options including tachometer, fan performance sensors, and speed control.
