EEIBA launches helpline for JIB members
The Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA) has launched a dedicated hotline for members of the Joint Industry Board (JIB) for the electrical contracting industry.
Available on 0800 652 9909, advice and help is on hand for individuals who work for JIB member companies.
Claire Beresford, corporate fund raising manager for EEIBA, said: "By providing a free phone number, we're endeavouring to make it easier for JIB subscribers in need of our advice and support to contact us."
"Making that first call can be a big step for many and they need to be able to dial a number which will allow them to speak directly to someone in complete confidence."
Steve Brawley, chief executive of the JIB, said: "This is a first step in our plan to work more closely with the EEIBA in future, so that we continue to add value to JIB membership and provide support to our excellent industry charity."
