Robust alpha-numeric keypads for outdoor use
Foremost Electronics, the Essex based specialist distributor of electromechanical components, announces the introduction of the AK-206 range of rugged metal keypads for outdoor applications.
The AK-206 keypads feature two rows of either numeric or alpha-numeric (telephone keypad) buttons and offer a robust, vandal resistant, waterproof switching solution for secure door-entry systems, industrial control, security and emergency systems.
Switch contacts are rated at 24VDC/20mA with contact resistance >200? and have an operating life of 2,000,000 cycles per key over an operating temperature range of -40 to +65ºC. The keys have a stroke length of 2.0mm and an actuating force of approximately 150gm.
