Lighting chosen for Chelsea Pensioners’ new infirmary
Royal Chelsea Hospital, home to the world-famous Chelsea Pensioners, recently specified 70 Luxo Carelite dimmable bed head lamps and 4 trolley mounted LHH examination and minor surgery luminaires for its new Margaret Thatcher infirmary building.
Luxo's Carelite is a bed head luminaire with a covered spring balanced arm which is easy to clean and simple to position. Its integrated ergonomic handle makes operation easy, even for patients with handicaps. The trolley mounted LHH has been designed to offer a portable solution for demanding viewing conditions that require exceptionally good light such as medical examination and minor procedures.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea was founded in 1692 to provide a home for old and injured. Today 300 former soldiers live there.
