Energy saving fittings
Commercial and domestic electrical installers now have a wider choice of low energy fully tested fire-rated downlights with the addition of the new Fireguard GU9 and GX53 low energy downlights from JCC Lighting.
The compact Fireguard GU9 CFL utilises a high performance lamp and fixture combination designed to exceed 45 lumens per watt as a complete package. The fixture comes complete with a 9W Megaman low energy lamp that lasts an average of 15,000 hours. In addition to the GU9, the new GX53 is ideal for installations with a reduced void, thanks to its shallow depth. Both luminaires have dedicated lamp bases that ensure they fully comply with Part L of the Building Regulations, aiding energy efficiency.
