Maintenance boards improve productivity
The simplicity of using T Cards Direct latest Planned and Preventative Maintenance Boards in conjunction with a two-part carbonated card helps improve and streamline communications between plant production and maintenance departments.
When either a maintenance issue arises or routine servicing is required on a specific machine, a member of the maintenance staff completes the top sheet outlining what is required and potential downtime.
The two-section card is manually removed by the production manager, the second part is then completed advising on the most convenient time for the remedial work to be carried out. This card is then returned to a ‘day' column and placed within a given time slot. Since the second part is a different colour the maintenance team immediately becomes aware that a time schedule for work has been agreed.
The boards are also used by production staff to raise alerts to potential machine problems.
