Lewden acquires CGD
Lewden Electrical Industries has announced the acquisition of the majority shareholding in Control Gear (Direct), the Kilmarnock based electrical products manufacturer. Control Gear(Direct) designs, manufactures and markets a range of consumer protection equipment, control gear, enclosures, and 3-phase distribution boards.
The day to day activities of Control Gear (Direct) will not be affected by the acquisition and the company will continue to operate from its Kilmarnock facility under the management of Robin Forsyth, who will also be joining the Lewden management team.
