Forward thinking draw-out system
The new MD system from Cubic introduces many new features to its draw-out offering. The MD system is designed to meet end users' high expectations with regard to service, maintenance, personal safety, and operational dependability. It features a compact design with 15% more available space, delivering reduced capital project outlay, and competitive power to the panelbuilder.
Panelbuilders can benefit from a free choice of switchgear and controlgear, and incorporate intelli-gent systems to fully meet the demands of the end user who - throughout the lifetime of the panel -can safely reconfigure the outgoing circuits whilst the panel is live.
Individual drawer units are rated between 16A and 630A and the system as a whole is tested with a range of the most common electrical components on the market. Additional tests to verify compli-ance with marine standards, arc fault tests and earthquake tests are available.
