Free training in wiring regulations
NICEIC is holding over 60 free nationwide 17th Edition seminars for its registered installers and one day tutorials for the wider trade.
The two hour seminars will allow attendees to gain an early appreciation of many of the significant changes to the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations that will take effect in 2008 when the new Standard supersedes the current 16th Edition BS 7671: 2001.
For those not registered with NICEIC but wanting to gain further understanding, NICEIC Training will be running paid-for one day tutorials throughout the UK, including:
• An overview of BS 7671: 2008. Reasons for change – the harmonisation process and technical advancement.
• Changes to the structure of BS 7671
• Summary of new Sections and Regulations
• Explanation of the many important technical changes
• Information about guidance documents, courses and City & Guilds qualifications
