16 mm miniature control units from Live Electronics target cost-sensitive applications
Idec A6-series miniature control units from Live Electronics, the new specialist electromechanical distributor, comprise illuminated and non-illuminated pushbutton switches, pilot lights, selectors, key switches and a push-lock/turn-reset switch. The devices offer a long life, 16mm circular mounting-hole format and a wide range of switching functions and actuator styles.
Ideal for use in applications ranging from industrial and process control through to power supplies, the Idec A6-series feature competitive pricing and a simple, rugged construction in a space saving package, sealed to IP65. Advantages include high-brightness LED illumination, the availability of a flush mounting bezel, and a choice of round, square or rectangular bezel.
Gold-clad silver snap-acting contacts ensure reliable low-level switching. Contacts are rated from 1mA at 5V AC/DC to 1A at 110VAC or 24VDC. Operating temperature range is -25 to 55 degrees Celsius.
Selector switches are fitted with a rotatable bezel to enable simple orientation in the panel. The LEDs used in the A6-series feature an integral resistor and diode for protection against reverse connection.
